How does Perchbot learn about my business?+
When you sign up, Perchbot scans your website and builds a summary of your services, hours, pricing, and location. You can review and edit anything it got wrong in the dashboard, and add custom FAQs for questions your website doesn't cover.
What happens when someone calls and nobody picks up?+
You forward your business number (or put a dedicated Perchbot number on your site and Google listing). If a call goes unanswered, Perchbot texts the caller within seconds with a link to chat — recovering a lead you would have lost to voicemail.
How do Google review requests work?+
When you mark a lead as converted in the dashboard, Perchbot waits a configurable delay (one hour by default) and then texts that customer with a one-tap link to leave you a Google review. Click rates and review counts show up in your dashboard.
Can I control what the bot says?+
Yes. The system prompt is tuned to stay inside your website content and your custom FAQs — it will not make things up. If a visitor asks something it doesn't know, it politely collects their info so you can follow up.
What if the bot doesn't know the answer?+
It says so honestly, then offers to take the visitor's name and email so your team can follow up. You get every unanswered question as a lead, not a lost visitor.
